Kevin Chin is an Australian artist whose elaborate oil paintings pull different parts of the world together into beautifully balanced, dream-like vistas.

The winner of the Bayside Prize VIC and Albany Prize WA, Kevin Chin was named one of Australia’s 50 most collectable artists by Art Collector magazine, and is in the collections of Parliament House, Artbank, RACV, Bayside and Nillumbik Councils.

Chin meticulously layers translucent oil glazes to give that signature softness, in a slow process that becomes like a meditation. His exquisite colour choices and unique approach to landscape make his paintings instantly recognisable.

With over 20 solo exhibitions and studio residencies across Europe, America, Asia and Australia, Kevin Chin’s paintings present an international take on the Australian experience.
